About

What is Portlora?

Portlora is a simple client portal for freelancers. It helps you manage projects, files, messages, and invoices in one place, then share everything through a single client link.

The Problem

Freelance work often gets split across too many tools. Updates happen on WhatsApp. Files live in Google Drive. Feedback gets buried in email. Tasks sit in Notion or Trello. Invoices are handled somewhere else.

It works, but it gets messy fast. Clients do not always know where to check. Things get missed. Conversations lose context. Even simple projects can start to feel harder than they should.

Why We Built This

Portlora came from a very normal frustration. Too much time was being spent switching between tools, digging through messages, resending files, and trying to keep clients aligned.

Not because the work was hard, but because the system around the work was scattered. We wanted something cleaner. Not a huge complicated platform. Just one place where client work could live without the usual back and forth.

What Portlora Does

One place for project updates
One place for files
One place for communication
One place for invoices

The key idea is simple: one client link. Instead of sending clients to five different tools, you send one link and they can see everything they need in one place.

How It Helps

Less tool switching
Clear communication
Better client experience
More professional workflow

Philosophy

We believe software should remove friction, not add more of it.

That means building simple tools around real workflows. It means focusing on what freelancers actually deal with day to day. And it means shipping fast, listening closely, and improving as we go.

Future

We are still early, and there is a lot we want to improve. That includes a better file experience, smoother payments, and easier client onboarding from the very first step.
